Tech Inspection Requirements!
Sunday, July 25th, 2010Hey all, here are the tech requirements for our track day. Everybody should have their cars meet these minimum requirements, we will do a quick tech on the day of!
Car Exterior
- exhaust must not drag on the ground
- all lugnuts must be present and tight
Engine Compartment -
- NO LEAKS OF ANY KIND! This means engine oil, p/s fluid, gear oil, ETC.
- Battery must be tied down with stock or better bracket. This means no zipties, no duct tape, no bungee chords etc. If relocated, battery must be in marine style plastic box, secured in a safe manner.
Car Interior
- Seats/Seat mounts must be stock or better as safety is concerned
- Seatbelts must be stock or better as safety is concerned
- Gas pedal should have good returnability
-All convertibles must have factory approved roll bar or better
- Brake/Clutch should have solid feel
Anything not mentioned in this document is subject to approval by the chief of tech.
